South Dakota Animal Industry Board joins CVI Central
We are pleased to welcome the South Dakota Animal Industry Board (SDAIB) as another user of CVI Central, Trace First’s end-to-end Certificate of Veterinary Inspection management system. The SDAIB joins Minnesota, New York and Florida in taking advantage of CVI Central’s robust capability to receive, manage, and process all Certificates of Veterinary Inspection; including paper and electronic CVIs. Traceability data contained in the CVI’s is captured by CVI Central and moved to existing animal health information systems making this data readily accessible for disease investigations and animal tracing.
Commenting on the decision to implement CVI Central, State Veterinarian Dustin Oedekoven said, “We are excited to join a number of states in using CVI Central to manage the animal health traceability information in our office. CVI Central offers improvements in efficiency and accuracy of our data collection processes, which will lead to better responsiveness to animal health events.”
Kathy Finnerty, the CVI Central Product Manager, stated, “CVI Central offers a great deal of labor efficiency for processing and managing electronic and paper certificates. I'm so happy that SDAIB will benefit from that efficiency and am looking forward to working with them.”
